Woody Sprouse: A Proven Leader Ready to Put People First.
At every stage of his life, Woody Sprouse has worked to bring people together and to serve with humility and purpose. He now seeks to serve the people of District 112 with the same devotion—with a steady voice, principled leadership, and a commitment to service over self.

About Woody Sprouse
Woody brings more than four decades of experience in the insurance and reinsurance industry, a field where his leadership and vision have earned him a reputation for integrity, innovation, and results. From his early years as a health benefits specialist with leading insurance carriers to his tenure as Vice President of the Health Reinsurance Division at Reinsurance Group of America, Woody has consistently worked to develop solutions that strengthen institutions and serve people. Today, as Chief Marketing Officer of Surety Marketing and Consulting Services, he continues to advise some of the nation’s leading companies on healthcare, community health plans, and reinsurance strategies.
His career has been defined not only by technical expertise but by relationships built on trust—across industries, across states, and across borders. Whether working with Fortune 500 executives, healthcare providers, or community leaders, Woody has shown the steady hand and principled judgment needed to navigate complex challenges.
But for Woody, professional success is only part of the story. At home in South Carolina, he is first and foremost a husband, father, and grandfather. He and his wife, Debi, have built a family rooted in faith, service, and responsibility. His devotion to his family mirrors the same values he will bring to representing District 112: accountability, compassion, and a long-term commitment to the well-being of his neighbors.
Beyond business and family, Woody has served for years as a counselor and mentor, leading men’s groups that encourage integrity, spiritual growth, and service to others. His work with the National Prayer Breakfast in Washington, D.C., reflects his heart for quiet diplomacy and bridge-building. Each year, Woody helps host a hospitality suite that provides space for leaders from across the world to engage in candid, respectful conversation about the challenges we share in common. In that work—as in his life—Woody embodies the conviction that listening, humility, and trust are essential to real leadership.
